We patched up all design issues left and continued preparation for the presentation. We also tried the integration suite but could not get it to work. We searched for other alternatives incase the integration suite causes more problems.

We met with Professor Fadi Alsayegh and explained to him our project and the timeline and our milestones and took in some advice from him as a project manager on how we can improve our efficiency and finish the project earlier. We hope to have regular meetings with him through out the course.

The group divided the tables amongst each other randomly. They were divided as such:


Tarek: Demographics, Adverse Event, Inclusion_exclusion_criteria, Trials.

Maysoon: Qualtiy of Life, Admission, Follow-up/Death, Drug_History.

Mohannad: DrugRoute, Drug, Monthly_Tel_Contact, Cost, Baseline Test.

Abdelmohsin: Baseline, Patient, Center, Test, Clinic_Visit.

Khaled: Measurement, Condition, Medical History, Contact.

We aslo looked over the project timeline produced by Tarek and suggested improvements and refinements to the milestones on it.

The group discussed the advantages and disadvantages of using either the waterfall or cyclone design method. We agreed to base our project on the waterfall design method but more specifically using the modified waterfall method called Sashimi. The group discussed the presentation and the topics to be included. The presentation research work was divided among the group. Khaled defined the problem; Tarek suggessted the solution and the specific java tools to be used; Mohannad was given the task to research distributing the database; Abdelmohsin researched more java tools; Maysoon collected the info and made the slides for the presentation. We also assigned Tarek and Khaled as the speakers for the presentation.
